Introduction
Overseas Logistics is a shipping company that offers services to transport items from India to any location in the world. They provide shipping through Air Freight, Sea Cargo, and International Express. Their services include both international courier and freight forwarding, catering to individual and commercial customers globally.
Problem Statement
Despite being a top player in the logistics industry, the client have been solely dependent on referrals and word-of-mouth for acquiring new customers. They have not explored digital marketing as a means of generating leads, and as a result, lack a strong online presence. They needed to develop an effective digital marketing strategy to enhance their online presence and generate leads to sustain their position as a leader in the logistics industry.

via Social Media Marketing
We created social media channels for the client to interact with their audience and promote their services. Through paid and organic methods, we managed to increase the client’s follower count.
However, due to the nature of the courier business, making their social media page engaging was a challenging task. Nevertheless, we accepted the challenge and developed engaging campaigns. Here are the results:
Lead Generation and Brand Awareness via Social Media
We started two ad campaigns – each for brand awareness and lead generation. For brand awareness ad, we targeted business owners in general targeting PAN India, and for lead generation, we started messaging ads targeting audience interested in e-commerce/dropshipping. Below are the results.

We began by identifying the pain points of their customers, and requested that our client create an FAQ section to address their concerns.
We then improved certain aspects of the website and designed specific landing pages for the target cities, complete with contact forms and FAQ sections.
To generate leads, we utilized Google AdWords. We conducted a profitable keyword research based on ROI, and crafted ad copies using exact match keywords.
After the first month, we analyzed the best performing keywords and used them as a part of growth hack, by stopping all the non-performing keywords.

We built a custom dynamic landing page for the logistics brand for A/B testing the PPC Campaigns. The variant A was a static and modern page with the primary keyword in the heading, and a contact form with the CTA as “Get Quote”.
via Search Engine Optimization
The client’s website had very little authority in SERPs with indexed backlinks from only two websites and no traffic from search engines.
We optimized the client’s website for SEO after profitable keyword research and began creating high authority backlinks. The following were the results after three months of regular SEO:
- Primary keywords started getting indexed in search engine result pages.
- Organic traffic increased from 0 to 100 visitors per month, according to Google Analytics.

Running a courier service can be overwhelming, and at times, business owners don’t have enough time to go through the feedback customers leave on Google listings.
However, we make it a priority to read every feedback carefully and ensure that every review, whether positive or negative, receives an appropriate response.
The client had a bad reputation on Google listings and wanted the ratings to increase.
We got in touch with their most satisfied customers and asked them to leave a genuine feedback on the Google Listing. As a result, their rating increased from 2.7 to 3.8
